TULUM
Tulum is just magical with its many natural wonders. It is a paradise set in the Mexican “Riviera Maya” and is best known for its impressive Mayan ruins dating back to the XIII-XIV centuries. The archeological site is the only one in Mexico located on the seashore and you should absolutely not miss it.
Tulum is also well known for its multiple “cenotes” (natural pools surrounded by lush tropical vegetation) which the Mayan people considered sacred places. In fact, Tulum has the world's largest network of underwater sinkholes or “cenotes” (The “SacActun” underwater cave system).
Swim or dive in their crystal-clear waters and sense the beauty and calm around you.
Of course, Tulum has some magnificent beaches with turquoise waters and fine white sand, as well as some lagoons. It is indeed a great spot to go snorkeling or scuba diving.
Furthermore, Tulum village or "pueblo” is charming. Do stroll around the city center to find numerous coffee shops and restaurants and taste some local or national specialties. Or browse the small boutiques where you may just find that special gift you are looking for.
Tulum is also the ideal place to practice yoga and meditation, connecting with your body and soul.
And finally, enjoy the evening with an array of bars and restaurants in downtown Tulum, or experience a more exclusive gourmet
scene and nightlife around the beach area. Tulum is calm and at the same time vibrant, rich in nature and biodiversity.
